ABOUT THE PROJECT
I was hired by ShoeFitts Marketing to create a new brand for Ann Schleck & Co., an independent financial consulting firm. The goal was to create something fresh and exciting to improve client retention, increase sales and help boost enrollment in product development services. I created two different concept styles: one simple without photography and one using photography. I was given the logo and the stylized "swoop" pattern, but no styleguide or other framework.
I designed both postcards and emails to present the concepts.
THE SOLUTION
The first set uses simple typography and warm, flat color. I emphasized the branded "swoop" pattern to represent "momentum" but left the design simple and uncluttered for a classic, contemporary feel.
The second set I focused on the idea of creating movement and "momentum" by use of photography treatments in Photoshop, which eventually was the style they picked to use. The colors I chose were bright and fresh, as I wanted a vibrant, energetic vibe for a more modern look. Both cards were designed with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
